Hosted by Howe Hockey
**96 & 95 Birthyear AAA Caliber Players Invited to Apply**
|
- COACHING: It is our intent to provide the best coaching available to our camp participants. Players will learn from NHL, Major Junior, & NCAA level coaches for the entire week. We do not bring in “guest” coaches but rather TOP level professionals who work with our players all week. Our instructors show tremendous dedication and a passion for teaching top hockey players. Their attitude, preparation and personal involvement with each player sets our camp apart from others.
- IN-DEPTH & Positive Learning Environment: Each day, players will practice, play a full game, have a lecture, review film, workout off-ice, etc. Players are constantly LEARNING at our camp. We tell our players that they will get out of it what they put into it. Players will also receive a 1-on-1 review with an instructor in which players are expected to come prepared with questions in addition to hearing the camp instructors’ analysis of the players abilities.
- COMPETITION: Players are pushed to perform and excel just as they would in Major Junior, College, or Professional hockey. Our intent is to develop the competitive mindset of the player and prepare them for these higher levels. Applicants are screened to ensure the highest possible level of competition.
- COUNSELORS: Many of our counselors are Selects Hockey Alumni who are current NHL draft picks, Major Junior or NCAA players, etc. A great amount of emphasis is used in choosing our counselors, their significance as role models to these young players is paramount. They serve as a "real life" example of what is needed to succeed at higher levels and participants benefit by forging lasting relationships with them.

Selects Hockey does not expect to drastically develop a player’s skills in a matter on one week. However, we focus on developing the thought process of a player through practice, film, lectures, competition, workouts, and interaction with our experienced instructors. Players leave our camp with an attention to detail and mental focus that will help push them to new heights in their winter season.

Quotes:
"The best hockey camp I've ever been to. The on-ice and off-ice skill development enhanced my level of play. The coaching staff, which consisted of some of the best coaches from around the world, each brought their own perspective of how I should play the game and what to improve on."
